Fibre to Cabinet (FTTC)

Fibre to the cabinet broadband (or FTTC for short) is an internet connection that runs along fibre optic cables from the telephone exchange to the (usually green) roadside cabinet. Gigafast fibre leased lines

A leased line is a dedicated fixed-bandwidth data connection. The word ‘leased’ refers to the connection rented by the Internet Service Provider directly to a business. A leased line needs to be symmetrical, uncontended and point to point.

These packages can be flexible – 30-day contracts and can be cancelled whenever you want. Speeds can be pretty fast, sometimes faster than ADSL home broadband connections. A mobile broadband device is portable, so you can take it wherever you take your laptop or tablet. It is also goof for a 2nd failover option.
